Health & Care VC Integration

Funded by the TEC Programme, the SCTT are developing video conferencing links into other sectors.

  • The SWAN network provides connectivity between public sector organisation.  A shared service for video conferencing has been established that allows video calls to pass between organisations.  This will allow end users to directly dial devices in partnering organisation.  This is the first shared service on the SWAN network.
  • A number of organisation use Skype for Business for both audio and video conferencing.  To support integration between standard video conferencing and Skype for Business a device is being installed that will provide direct links between the two systems.  This will allow easier communication between staff members.
