This section provides information on Lessons Learned  from the implementation of U4H in Scotland and captures important insights and enablers to overcome the challenges of large scale deployment of telehealth.

United4Health has been, by all accounts, a breakthrough project for Scotland. It has enabled transformational service change and created an appetite for at-scale solutions. It has enabled the project areas to develop the capability, skills and expertise to further progress the objectives of Scotland’s Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Programme and has pushed forward the strategic development of an at scale, clinical and cost effective National Model for Home & Mobile Health Monitoring in Scotland.
The guidelines and recommendations outlined in this report should be used locally and nationally to help inform the expansion of telehealth in Scotland within the framework of Technology Enabled Care.
