The Scottish Centre for Telehealth and Telecare are also exploring the benefits of innovations such as wearable devices and digital apps for the public and health and care services.

Key programmes of work currently include:

Mental Health – through our European MasterMind programme we are able to provide access to computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to support people with anxiety or low mood disorders.

Falls Management – The SmartCare programme was set up to improve Falls Prevention and Management through improved care co-ordination, digital integration and communication.

Health & Wellbeing – The Living it Up website provides a range of information to support people living with long term conditions

Heart Disease – SCTT is part of the National Advisory Committee on Heart Disease. This ensures digital technology is considered, and appropriately used, in the redesign of services for patients with heart disease across both acute and rehabilitation pathways in Primary and Secondary Care in Scotland.
