Digital Health – working across boundaries with industry, academia and the 14 regional NHS Boards to support and guide the development of technology enabled healthcare in Scotland. Programmes include Mental Health, Home and Mobile Health Monitoring, Heart Disease, Teleneurology and Custodial Healthcare;
Supported Self Management – enabling people to take a leading role in their own health and care, SCTT has lead the development of a range of supported self management tools. Two key programmes include the self-management website Living it Up and the SmartCare online falls prevention tools;
Technology Enabled Care– supporting the integration of Telehealth and Telecare through the Scottish Government’s £30million Technology Enabled Care Programme. SCTT leads on a number of workstreams, including Telecare and Care Homes, Video Enabled Services and the Analogue to Digital feasibility study;
European Projects – establishing positive relationships as Scotland’s ambassador for telehealth and telecare in Europe;
Knowledge Exchange – providing a range of links and information to support knowledge transfer across the development of technology enabled health and care services.
